Before entering private practice, Dr. Ahmed completed a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. Since then, he’s served in various capacities including chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Methodist Hospital, Baytown, and clinical assistant professor at UTMB in the department of psychiatry.
